My Valentine Lady
Your face is aglow this Valentines night,
A shimmering oval in pale moonlight.
Your hair, shifting gently as in a breeze,
As you sit and gaze, completely at ease.
Your eyes are limpid pools of smokey grey,
Your nose is perky and seems to say,
I'm both aristocratic and humble today.
It scrunches up with laughter every day.
Your mouth is sensuous, lips so full,
Each time I look it gives my heart a pull.
Your kiss is like nothing I ever felt before,
I yearn for another, more and more.
Your laughter is like a tinkling brook,
You make my heart melt with just one look.
You are my partner at this Valentine's Ball,
Your fudge and chocolate, my wife, my all.
For St Valentines Day.
