My Unforgivable Sin
Day of prayers and thanks, my sister died,
left alone you tried hard to save her life.
I fell on my knees losing hope and cried;
you let go of your anger on your wife.
I stare, unable to utter a sound,
hiding the pain, trying not to break down.
Shuddering with horror my hands are bound.
Inside I am drowning wearing a frown.
He steps in my life and shows some kindness,
blissful pleasure like flowers adoring.
The sincere love he shows is my weakness.
Surrendering my life is worth living.
I know my sin is unforgivable.
Your silence and glares unforgettable.
