My Treasure Chest of Gold

I have hidden friends who are in my treasure chest When I am in trouble the shine like rubies and gold They are like no other and pop up like a jack in the box They watch over me and protect me as if I was gold From a word I cannot spell or a line of syllables They have even help with things to help me to try and win I call them my soup Angels who are music to my ears These are my treasures of gold

The timber trunk is magnificent. A durable and beautiful treasure, will live for hundreds of years.

You built that treasure chest! Wow! Okay, that was not going to be my first thought, but I cannot get over it so it is. It is GORGEOUS! The poem is terrific, and a tribute to probably many of the same people who have helped me through this process so many many times!

Hi Bobby, You've penned such a touching and thoughtful poem. That's a lovely treasure chest that you built for your grandson. I know he just loved it. You're a great grandfather. Well done:-) Alexis

Beautiful poem , gorgeous treasure chest that he will treasure for all time. Good grandpa, that was my husband; building and spending as much time with them as he could.. He lived for them.
