My Sweet Regret

My sweet regret; resplendently appeared the star who I would see light up my life and fill my soul because not ever in my whole small world had one shone such as he! Like polished onyx, glittery, his dark eyes cast a spell on me that nearly made me lose control. . . My sweet regret! He soon became a malady; this man still in my memory - how wickedly he would cajole me, for I kept my proper role. No matter, he will always be. . . My sweet regret. Sieze the moment and have no regrets, just take precautions lol. This is a beautiful write Petal. Must hit most of us in the heart, at regret. Take care, Richard

Better a sweet regret than a sour one! If only we had a crystal ball to tell us which ones to embrace. Hugs

a sweet regret from a memory full of memories, one who had with out doubt had much respect for you as a woman, i find that easy to understand, also to give in to that regret i could understand, that knowing you also,

What might have been is never known. Regret and rue that don't come true. Cannot fulfill what's overdue. To keep on trucking's all we can do. Lamenting's fine for poetry. :)

And yep, I've been out for some time now. I'm here at my plant today for the first time in over a month. I've been going around to the other plants in this district for awhile now to help train new drier operators, maintenance men, and temps. It's been hell, Andrea....hell. Looks like a few more weeks of prep and then rice will be coming in. Then things will level off to a steady hum and I'll have time for my contest and other things here. Hope you are well. Your friend, Caleb.

Hey Gal! How the heck are ya? This poem makes me think of....Eduardo?...I remember a poem of yours about a dark-eyed gentleman. Probably not, but...that's what came to mind. Love it...a sweet regret is better than a bitter one...

WeIll - maybe to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. I've always questioned that saying. Love, daver
