My Story

My StorAs I sit here lonely,
I realize how much he meant to me,
I took advantage of the love he gave me,
Until he abandoned me.
Now I realize what I had,
And what I left slip through my fingers,
Thinking he would always be there,
After the disgrace I gave him,
I was a fool.
Wishing he would walk through the door,
Is like dreaming of being wealthy.
I’ll never get to see the love he gave me again,
Because I did not do my duties,
To show him the same love,
That he showed me.
I miss him more as the days go on,
Thinking that someone how he might come back.
I second chance would be great,
But do I actually deserve it,
Or do I deserve what I got?
That will remain with me,
Until the finale happens.
Crying is the key now,
That maybe I will do my best,
And he will be the one,
I hold in my arms.

After a few weeks,
I finally got the nerve to call him up.
I told him what he meant to me,
And that life was not complete,
Without him in my arms.
He was nervous about what would happen,
But he gave me a chance.
Since that day,
I have done my best,
With all that I could,
And he realized that I was right,
And that I would change.
We are fortunate to be together.
After all I put him through,
He still love me enough,
To give me the second chance,
That I wanted.
When I get mad,
I think back to the lonely times,
And realize that I don’t need to show,
The real anger I feel,
Because I don’t want to end up,
In the boat I did last time.
He is the one,
That I get to share my life with.
Tomorrow is our Wedding Day,
I’m excited and happy,
Thinking of all the memories we will have together,
Some good and others wicked,
But the best part is,
We spent the memories,
With each other.
