The first I notice in the spring are birds,
I just love their dulcet musical songs;
a symphonic chorus of sweet bird words,
in the garden the tunes cure winters wrongs.
I love how my white daisies are swaying,
so gossamer like layers of chiffon;
airy and gauzy- each year replaying,
oh, their beauty I can depend upon.
Then, come the blue margaritas tender,
bright blue blooms sprawling graceful in the sun;
in my spring garden- I just surrender,
where my flowers interweave like lace spun.
I have waited for this resurrection;
this healing of heavenly perfection.
