I escape into a place When I start to find a trace When memories from long ago Start to resurface and show Me the pain I used to feel That I could ever peel Off me or out of my mind They are not happy or kind My world of sorrow is soon gone Put on hold--there is no wrong In my special world of glee That will always rescue me A world of beauty I create Its so wonderful and great Feeling all the joy and pleasure Like finding a land of treasure Sparkly, shiny, and fun I will stay until the sun Is replaced by stars at night Shining with wonder so bright
