My Roomie

On the shores of Gitchie Goomie
    I outlived my silent roomie

But now I've not a thing to say
I miss my roomie every day

Reminds me of a Willie Nelson song, "Poncho and Lefty" with Merle Haggard.

I missed that Willie Nelson song ('Poncho and Lefty'). Guess it wasn't 'always on my mind.' ~ On the Road Again
