My Queen

My Queen I still see you for who you are. Even when the world has hardened you. When your soul of gold seems to have lost its glow. Still, I want to belive in you, my Queen. I still want to be able to hold you down, when others take away your joy. To see you prevail when others scream and yell. I still see you. When I have seen your struggles with the entanglements of man. Love has fallen into a wasteland of sand, My Queen. I still see you for you. I still want to hold you high, while others look at you as you cry. To see the disconnect between you and me makes me sigh, my queen. For your words have so much power within this hour, they are harsh against thee. Seek you I shall, my queen in your darkest hour. Even though, you no longer see me as your power, your King. For all has fallen, into a deep dream without you, My Queen.
