My Poetry Jealousy

When I read another work of art I wonder why? Why can’t I place those magic words in the order that they see Why do I not have the skill to see what they see when they write their poetry I try to reach deep into my soul as far as I can go I try to see through their eyes to capture their harmony I try to learn all the categories but I have not the knowledge of that If I go to deep I will sink my own ship and I can't do that So what I write is what you see just simple poetry So when you read this poetry please keep in mind It’s just simply me: Bobby

I find as time goes on I prefer less rules. Emotion wins over form in my books. Keep writing your way Bobby.

I am also in awe of many poets I read on soup Bobby and there is nothing wrong with simple poems I much prefer it to high faluting lines only the poet knows what they are about:-) hugs jan xx
