My Place
I couldn’t have found a better place, to go to on that day
Filled with color and sunshine at the singing brook to play
I took a break and ran away where nature held me tight
Nothing could reach me in my place, where all my dreams took flight
My friends the butterflies, danced as if to celebrate
The joy I found at the banks of creation, taught me to create
