Flopping sweating 
Gurgling buzzing
Chainsaw wielding beast
Nightmare I could wake from

I really like this one. " Nightmare I could wake from if I could only sleep". That line applies to so many topics in life. As for the snoring,. A golf ball in the back of his boxers will keep him off his back.

Lol! I've taken up Russel's advice, now I poke him and get him to turn on his side :) doesn't always fix it but at least he's roaring in the other direction.

Maureen,My husband use to sleep with a sleep mask and a machine to make him sleep. he had sleep akmea . always had to get his machine checked out. if his snoring was not heard i would So i did wake him up.So I did not mind the snoring.Have a nice evening my friend.

I think that you truly see....that insomnia is the REAL b....I know it is to me....because at night, my dreams are seldom set free....because my thoughts simply refuse to flee....at least not until my pen becomes their destiny.....wonderful write Maureen....;)

Ha Ha! I loved this write, it is quite funny, but alas quite serious too! I know that it would be difficult to sleep with someone snoring! My wife goes through that at times when I sleep on my back, I'm not that bad, but I do have a little of one and it keeps her awake whenever I do. She just wakes me up to make me sleep on my side! I truly enjoyed reading this magnificent poem this morning my friend! What a grandiose piece, very well put together and quite humorous! Great Work!!

Hahahah... I went through it for years until my middle son went into the service and I took over his room... It wasn't as much getting sleep , but my eardrums hurt. I love your write, Maureen, good imagery ~*

My frustration was descending into rage when this poem came out, sent me into giggles which marked him turning to his side and the snore pittering out: it worked! He always offers to sleep in other room but he's impossible to wake. Sigh. Hugs!
