My Oracle
When hectic life overtook me
And I wandered on pathways unknown
Away from light, into the night
I think I needed a God
I asked for strength
I asked for wisdom
And then the oracle shone
And then the oracle shone
From the deep depth of my slumber
I woke to white light
Like a child in the wildest forest
The morning sun peeped in
A soft and soothing voice
Held me dear to him
And then the oracle shone
And then the oracle shone
I stood up and tried to find
The voice divine, the voice divine
In a flash it illumined my soul
And my heart opened wide
