My Morning Ritual
MY MORNING RITUAL
I stumble to the kitchen
Brew coffee right away
Then I go to my prayer closet
Where I secretly pray
I spend some undisturbed quiet time
With the Creator of heaven and earth
And thank Him for every Blessing
Especially His begotten Son's Birth
During my quiet time alone with God
I enter my prayers in a journal
Praying for people everywhere
And for our destiny eternal
Without my morning ritual
My day does not go well
And that is why I take the time
For what to God I tell
You are on my prayer list
Although we've never met
But in my morning ritual
I never do forget
To thank God for you each morning
As I take the time to pray
And ask Him to Bless you richly
And grant you a wonderful day
