My Memories Is My Menoir
My memories is my memoir
About all she did for me
She didn’t have to do those things
Making sacrifices beyond her means
She birthed me, and raised me
Bandaged my wounds when in need
When I look into the mirror
I see a reflection of you
My memories is my memoir
A constant reminder made new
The strong nurturing person that you were
And the love for God in your Soul
I don’t need material objects to keep
For reminder of you, for your spirit
For your Spirit is my guardian angel
And keeps my heart filled with love
For your memories is my memoir
And knowing you are watching from above
In memory of my Loving Mother
