My Love In Thought
Not in words, soft and sweet
Nor in flowers sent to greet
Not in stones of precious mines
Nor in poems penned in lines
Rather, what I offer here
To me is something much more dear
Something which cannot be bought
I have for you, my love in thought
I think of what my life has meant
Since as one, our days we’ve spent
I think of just a million things
All tied up in my heart strings
Not in words, soft and sweet
But in image, so complete
Our lives, our love until the end
My love in thought, I will extend
