My Life Is Just Beginning

My life is just beginning as I grow inside you, As you nourish me with every breath that you take. The miracle of creating life only God can do, But, without you, a baby is something no one can make. It’s been one month now, and I’m starting to develop. I have a long way to go, but it’ll be worth the wait. Soon, my life as I know it will be completely enveloped, But I will continue to grow and gain my own traits. It’s been two months now, and I’m really starting to take form. I have a nose, mouth, ears, hands, and feet and move around a lot. I can hear your voice now, and it’s a sound that’s become my norm. It’s beautiful to me and I listen with everything I’ve got. You have the power to carry and protect me. Day by day, you make me stronger with the food that you eat. I will be your greatest adventure, just wait and see. I can’t wait until my birth day… the day we get to meet. It’s been three months now, and you seem to regret your choice. Something has changed in the way that you speak to me. Though I can’t talk yet, don’t forget that, I, too, have a voice. I want to live and show the world who I can be. Let me live and show you the kind of person I can be.
