My Life In the Sky
As I move down the aisle,
Serving people with a smile,
I realize this is the place to,
A perfect life suited just for me.
I float above the world so high,
Several thousand feet in the sky,
Above the clouds of white and gray,
In my place of solitude every day.
Of all the people in the world,
My greatest joys are the boys and girls.
No matter where they’re from, near or far,
Their eyes tell the story of who they are.
They’re so innocent, and yet so brave,
Always with a smile and a little wave.
It’s my job to make them feel safe up here
And show them that there’s nothing to fear.
So, to all of you who travel by plane,
About my job, I will never complain.
And now that you know what I do for work.
May you also know…YOU are my favorite perk.
