My Life and I Am Living High---

MY LIFE AND I’M LIVING HIGH— I’m just traveling down life highways; Made many bad choices; Listened to all of the wrong voices; And my reply was; It wasn’t me at all; So I do or die Lord; Oh!, so I choose to live so Now it’s my life and I’m living high; And I no longer want to be that guy It’s my life and I’m living high; I need help from God so that I can get by; It’s a time in my life when I thought I knew it all; A time when I’ve got but then just drop the ball; A time when walking I wasn’t right wandering blind folded; Always in trouble always beholden; Oh!, so I choose to live so Now it’s my life and I’m living high; And I no longer want to be that guy It’s my life and I’m living high; I need help from God so that I can get by; Yet I live and I cry So I stop to look then I try As I pick up the pieces of my life I rise again… I rise on Now it’s my life and I’m living high; And I no longer want to be that guy It’s my life and I’m living high; I need help from God so that I can get by 6/15/74 Written words by James Edward Lee & arranged music Micheal Block©1974, 2019 From demo album “The World May End Tomorrow”
