My Home

I had a visitor today Who’d not been here before And this is what she said The moment she walked through the door: “Your home is just the way that I Expected it to be. It really looks like you.” Of course, The “you” she meant is me. I took that as a compliment For how we dress our nest Is to guarantee we’re happy, Not so others are impressed. I’m relaxed in my apartment And my husband would agree, Though I’m glad when others notice A reflection there of me.

I feel the same way about my apartment, Ilene, though I've been a bachelor for years. I find most men care not a wit about how their wives decorate the house. Are they blind? I have original paintings everywhere in my apartment, and when friends enter it's the first thing they comment on. / M

It's really nice when one's home is a reflection of them. I would like to be all sleek and modern looking house, but it's a bit cluttery. haha. It's showing my brain off to folks!
