My Heart Sings

Through yellow ochre and crimson leaves high The morning sunshine flickers all around Slight current of breeze brings barely a sound As I look through the color at the sky I’m ready for whatever this day brings As I gain strength through change of season While so much happens without good reason Here is October, with faith my heart sings! 10/4/20 Entry for the October Poetry Contest.
