My Heart Belongs to You

I FEEL THE STARLIGHT KISS MY FACE
FOR IT TONIGHT IS IN YOUR PLACE
AS YOU THINK ONLY NEW IS BRIGHT
YOU LEFT ME -ERE IN BITTER HASTE

ANOTHER ONE YOU HOLD TONIGHT
WAS SHE YOUR CHOICE OR IS IT SPITE
I AM THEIONE WITH EYES OF BLUE
AND HAIR OF GOLD, A FINE DELIGHT

I AM THE ONE WHO WOULD BE TRUE
DID YOU QUITE MISS MY SIMPLE QUE
I SMILED AT YOU WITH DIMPLED CHEEK
I THINK YOU TASTE BUT BITTER BREW

PLEASE HONOR ME AND HEAR ME SPEAK
I THINK OF YOU AND BECOME WEAK
WE FIT LIKE A WHITE,SILKEN GLOVE
FOR YOU I LOVE, TIS YOU I SEEK.

Dear Anne, I think Constance would not like a poem all in capital letters. You can ask her. Otherwise a lovely poem.

Great affirmation of love. Despite all such warm promises, if he goes after another, he will regret. "I THINK YOU TASTE BUT BITTER BREW" Rightly said. Dear Anne, a great entry for the contest. All the best.
