Like a bird on the wing I was homeless Not a perch to call my own Always searching for somewhere, something my song was so dull and forlorn I was taken to a nest i was promised I would find love and friendship too can't believe the joy that overtook me that moment when I found you I felt love the moment I met you The friendly feeling you sent out to me introduced me to the friends you knew I felt at home immediately I love you so Don't ever say goodbye You grew interested in my words Comments from all my new friends feel so ready and relaxed its so absurd a day without you, I can't comprehend I would miss you so My heart would die You are more than a part of my life Don't ever say goodbye Please never close your doors to me My heart would die.
