Calm on the outside Anything but on the inside Mysterious Hoped we had a bond But I missed my chance I didn’t understand What you hid deep within You hurt You cried Deep on the inside I couldn’t see I couldn’t help I was an outsider My hands were tied I couldn’t see I couldn’t help Then you lashed out At everyone Including me Most especially because I didn’t see I didn’t help AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on September 5, 2017

I really like this, how you repeat: I didn't see. I didn't help. It makes me really curious to know the situation. It has a feeling to it of such regret and helplessness
