My Gratitude
Dear God, Your deserve my full gratitude
With my love-braced service moved by Your grace
And faith, anchored by Your truth’s fortitude
That pleases You well, devoid of doubts’ trace
While I exalt Your holy name midst praise.
My thanksgiving* belongs to You indeed
For my soul You freed from falsity’s creed
You’ve set my heart’s affection heaven-ward
My spirit’s need You meet against lust’s greed
Upholding me triumphantly onward!
*Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
