My God, Thank You For Letting Me Worship You

December 25 Scripture Meditations Based on Revelation 11-12 Key Verse – Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME WORSHIP YOU Thank You for letting me worship You by Your salvation-guaranty Enabling my soul to praise You without fear’s infirmity But with redemption’s warranty Truly protected against hell’s ferocity. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your sanctification-cleansing Enabling my heart to meet You without guilt’s cursing But with forgiveness’ blessing Truly guarded against sinfulness’ addressing. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your satisfaction-delight Enabling my spirit to abide in You without hypocrisy’s blight But with humility’s plight Truly shut against carnality’s flight. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your supplication-answer Enabling my faith to trust You without unbelief’s enforcer But with entreaty’s power Truly propelled against doubtfulness’ tower. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your standard-objective Enabling my commitment to glorify You without comfort’s alternative But with devotion’s directive Truly moved against pride’s prerogative. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your stewardship-privilege Enabling my labour to please You without complacency’s mileage But with servanthood’s knowledge Truly instructed against humanism’s college. Thank You for letting me worship You by Your serenity-posture Enabling my mind to rest in You without qualm’s venture But with joy’s gesture Truly inspired against worldliness’ culture.
