My God, Thank You For Comforting Me

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR COMFORTING ME

Thank You for comforting me midst sickness
As you heal my ailing soul from sinfulness
Making me whole with Your forgiveness
So that I can follow You against selfishness.

Thank You for comforting me midst doubt
As you enlighten my confused mind from unbelief bout
Making me settled with Your Scriptures’ route
So that I can turn against ignorance-pout.

Thank You for comforting me midst fright
As you calm my nervous heart from fret-fight
Making me peaceful with Your courage-light
So that I can win against guilt midst prayer-flight.

Thank You for comforting me midst misery
As you deal with my perilous anxiety from injury
Making me hopeful with Your miracles’ story
So that I can move on against feeling sorry.

Thank You for comforting me midst discouragement
As you cheer up my frustrated spirit from loss-entrapment
Making me revived with Your love-fulfillment
So that I can continue trusting You against discontentment.

Thank You for comforting me midst temptation
As you strengthen my failing faith from persecution
Making me victorious with Your fortification
So that I can persevere against tribulation.

Thank You for comforting me midst despair
As you uphold my faltering convictions from worldliness’ affair
Making me joyful with Your restoration-care
So that I can prevail against frustration-dare.
