My Friend Jarrod

You were so young
You were so bright
Now I sit here crying tonight
Because of an overdose I've lost another friend
Whose life was cut short and brought to an end
I just don't understand how you got involved with that
But now because of that drug you'll never come back
I remember when we would all hang out at school
Run around and act like fools
You could always brighten anyones day
With your caring, playful ways
When ever I was having problems
You gave me advice and tried to solve them
I remember the day that Ian died
Me and you held each other while we cried and cried
But now you are the one who has died
And you're not here to hold me while I cry
So now what am I going to do
The one who comforted me then was you
But no matter what I will never forget your big old smile
And i will never forget your crazy style
And no matter where I go, no matter what I do
I will never forget you

We will always love and miss you
