My Foolish Heart

Young an impressionable waits for you                              not knowing you would not be true                                  My days are long                                                            My nights are filled with tears



Not knowing you would not be true                                  I gave you all my love                                                    My nights are filled with tears                                          Holding my pillow as if it was you  



 I gave you all my love                                                    You chose to love another                                                Holding my pillow as if it was you                                    My foolish heart must go on

Even though, I did “the pillow thing “ and sobbed, eventually I used my head before my heart. “YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO looking for love... WHEN IT IS WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM” That worked for me....
