My Flower

Golden hues all about her Mixed with sweet perfume Gentle petals of white Swaying in the wind Supported upon a thin stem Leaves searching for any hint of rain Forever nourished With thy roots firmly planted Though there be many liken unto thee Abundant in the field of green You are the only flower my heart can see Many butterflies and bees may pass thee by But soon thy own hummingbird shall find thee Oh flower, my flower Blossom and grow wonderfully
