My Dream - Come and Have a Cuppa Tea

I sometimes see you in my dreams We haven’t met though so it seems You must however also see me For I am willing it to be We could then have a talk and we would also go for a walk And you would be more than just a thought You might be part of my family That now resides under the shade of a tree One day we will meet for sure I hope it will then be forever more Did I not mention though I am not yet dead so neither are you Trust me friend I do see you I sometimes see you in my dreams So please do come and visit me We can then sip some tea And talk about reality I will also make you an apple pie And we can cloud gaze in the sky Or if you prefer you can have a coffee And I will buy for you Banoffee It’s all fine whatever you choose I am just waiting to hear your shoes On the threshold of my door I will then welcome your footsteps tip toe across my floor So just come and visit me Whoever you may be Because we are all family DAMO
