My Daughter, Happy 18th Birthday

I know you're at that age where every man feels like they love you and can marry you But take your time girl I know you feel like a model on the red carpet and all eyes are on you Everyone is applauding you I know you feel like a celebrity walking to stage And as you walk through the corridors, Your fans..each one is dying to touch you They're screaming your name..each one wants your attention I know it feels like heaven And How ever exciting it is Baby don't get excited I know, I know you're a blossoming flower With a beautiful and irresistible fragrance Drawing all bees to you But baby I want you to be a rose See its beautiful but it also has thorns Guard yourself jealously Do not allow to be plucked Before your time is due Yeah they will call you old fashioned But baby That's because their minds are stationed And they don't think like the learned Just don't mind the Because baby its not fashionable for one to wear a cloth that's torn and has been used over and over again You'll have it in on your closet You might wear it sometimes But it will NEVER be your favourite Baby no man will want an over used woman He might love you yeah but will never trust you or respect you I know they say, people change and we have to put the past behind and And with true love nothing matters Blah blah blah baby look at me! don't listen to them Because true love is beautiful when pure Not when wounded and all used up..right? Anything is beautiful when its pure and new When used..the beauty fades Honey, you're a rose flower Loved and wanted by many But once you wither..(once you wither) No one will want you Not even a child would want to play with you Am not saying you should be perfect I know that's not possible All am saying is guard your flower
