My Daily Prayer
Lord, as I come to you with a humble heart and a bowed head, meditating only
on the things you said.
First I'm asking you to forgive me, not just for one thing because i need forgiving
for a lot of things you see.
I was born in sin something that i can not change, struggling and trying to
maintain.
I'm trusting in you the only way that I know how, thanking you for the good the bad
and never asking why.
I want to thank you for those that have done me wrong, realizing that I'm going
through now ,but not for long.
Lord, you promised to be here whenever I need you, I'm just hoping and praying
that one day you will need me too.
I know that you will not make me do the things that are right, and I promise that if
you want to use this old body of mine I will not fight.
I want to do your will but the devil is fighting me hard, and all i can say in the end
is please help me lord.
I want to pray for my family and the people of the world, because there is so
much going on that it's making my head swirl.
I know that I'm not doing all that i can do to serve you at least not yet, but lord if
you continue to hold my hand and guide my feet I'll make it through this I'm willing
to bet.
Now since I have been born I know that I have sinned more than one time, and
even though you know that I'm not living right for some reason you have spared
mine.
I was never taught just how to pray, so when I do I make sure that I watch the
things I say.
Lord you said that you would never leave me no matter what I do, but I know that
you get tired of me doing wrong so I'll make sure that I don't push you.
You said that If I would ask of you then you would give, so all I'm asking for now is
a new life to live.
I promise to never take your love for granted, because in my heart your word is
deeply planted.
Lord you have spared my life in more ways than one, never had any kind of
disease,no car accidents,kids healthy this is not all that you have done this is
just to name some.
I know that I do not read or study your word the way that I should, so lord when I
read and study your word please make sure that it remain in my heart if you
would.
I will always pray for your people because that's the way it should be, because
Iwant someone to pray for me.
Last but not least I thank you for my kids knowing that you gave them to me, so
please take them and mold them into what you want them to be.
