My Christmas Miracle
My greatest Christmas miracle
Would be to give presents to the poor.
Take home the cold and homeless ones
And welcome them through my door.
Give them a Merry Christmas
That is such a great surprise.
Fill them full of turkey and pud;
Dress up as Santa in disguise.
My greatest Christmas miracle
Would be to offer them a bed.
A clean and comfy place to sleep,
Unlike the dangerous streets instead.
To give each one hot chocolate
Or coffee if they please;
To warm them by the fire
And forget the cold night’s breeze.
My greatest Christmas miracle
Would be to tell them they are loved.
That there is a God in heaven
Who uses me for His beloved.
To tell them they have a future
And are important to all heaven.
That Christmas miracles are for everyone,
Because God’s Son to this world was given.
