My Child

Why do you fight, my child? Is it for love? Do you fight for the peace of the world? Why do you fight? Why do you cry, my child? Is it for the loss of innocence Or the gain of reality? Do you cry for those who are lost Or for those who've been found? Why do you cry? What do you see, my child? Is it the harm done to our people? Do you see the violence on our shore? Or do you see the people serving? Or the grace of the one above? What do you see? It's okay, my child. You fight for Him And cry for them, You see the wrong of the world But also the good For you are a dreamer and a fighter You hope to see The world united for eternity.
