My Blue Cheese is

My blue cheese is Limburger and it tastes like rotten meat. Were I to put it twixt my toes, I would have stinky feet. I once bought a big chunk of it, there's nothing I won't try. It was the day that I did learn, be careful what you buy. Being the person that I am, (I think I'm heaven scent) And not to waste, a slice I put in my foe's car air vent. Next day I got the 'evil eye' and I was very pleased. I was not sure what I should do, so simply uttered "Cheese". That nasty crap I'll buy no more for I'd be really dumb. To those who make the rancid stuff, I'd say "it tastes of bum". Written 1/6/18 Contest: My Blue Cheese is... Hosted by Kevin Shaw

Haha loved it Rhoda, I do like mature cheese that has a bit of stale footy smell. But a bummy smell, I'll avoid that one Regards Tom

Lol. I love cheese, just not this gross despicable stuff. Saying it tastes like bum is probably an insult to millions of bums out there.

hahaha, tastes of bum. GREAT ending on a humorous poem, Rhoda. I sure enjoyed this read.

I remember trying it many moons ago cause I'm a cheese lover for the most part, and my reaction was rotten feet! I love the part about putting it in someone's car and I double love that you are a perfume I used in Junior High, Heaven SCENT vs sent. Good job, not stinky at all ... CayCay

So funny is this delightful slam poem, Rhonda! It made me smile a mile wide. Super cool poem ... and oh, how I love the stink of it. It's bad body odor magnificent. Great word-play poetry. Love and best wishes for the new year, dear.

This is so funny, Rhoda, I think perhaps Limburger might make good catfish bait; the smellier the better. John

LOL! So funny! But so true though how it really smells. And I for one can't eat yogurt. Just something about the taste I just can't eat it. Lol! Good luck in the contest, Rhoda... hugs and smiles :)

Lol. Thanks, Akkina. Funny how people differ. I love escargot and also yogurt. Our differences make this an interesting contest. Thank you for your kindness. You're appreciated.

You have a creative witty sense of humour, Rhoda:) :) I love cheese, but I'm told it causes 'bad' cholesterol, so I'm cutting down on it. Good luck in the contest. Regards // paul

Thank you, Dear. You're friendship, a blessing. I love cheese as well but not this gross stuff. Anything that has skin bacteria, smells like bum, and is called a "smear cheese" should only be consumed in bed and then it wouldn't be called cheese, would it ? Lol.

I had to laugh at this Rhoda. I remember the first time I smelled that cheese. A young girl in our class brought it to school as part of her lunch. No one would go near her, poor thing. I think it may have been the last time she ever brought it to school. I loved your humorous poem Rhoda! : )

Poor girl! Her mother should have been flogged with a ruler by a group of angry school administrators. Heck, the nuns in my school might have done similar :) Thank you for taking the time to read. I love your Constanza form, by the way. Challenging, fun and the end result is beautiful.

I love cheese as well, Pat, but this stuff should not be ranked as cheese, it's just too rank! Little play on words there. I know you are used to that! :) Thank you for your kindness and support, Dearheart.

Lol! Rhoda, I found this write to be hilarious from start to finish. I guess I won't be trying "Limburger" blue cheese. Just the thought of rotten meat or smelly feet makes my stomach churn. I wish you the best of luck in the contest:-) Alexis

Thank you, Alexis, for reading and your kind comment. Limburger cheese is hands down, the worst ever. I can't believe they call it food! The only critter I can imagine eating it is a turkey vulture. UGH
