Antimony - this symbol represents the animal nature or wild spirit of man and nature, and often used to symbolize the wolf.

The planets they have aligned, but in my poem, you will not find. Scented candles burn on my table, and still, I am not able. My quill is full, with blue ink, my mind is free now to think. Why has my muse abandoned me? Cannot she see I wait ready? As silhouettes dance in the light, still uninspired to simply write. Once my pen skipped freely, in the meadows of poetry.

Oh, how did I miss this gem from earlier? I just love the last couplet. The imagery is fantastic there as well as with the rest of the imagery in your little poem! Is it for silhouettes contest?

I can see the image and feel the frustration as you wait for inspiration. Love the silhouettes dancing in the light! Congrats, WW!

Well said by Chuck. This poem bemoans the absence of your precious muse, WW. Hope it returns w/exponentially more creative ink in that talented pen of yours. Melancholy yet yearning passion write. May your pen write star bright poetry again soon. Love and peace, my friend.

Dear Wolf. We all spend time in the prison of poetry....In cell 13 on Writer's Block! No food for thought there! You wrote it to the moon! Chuck

Brilliant couplet WW, any short loss of your muse would be a massive loss to us that are inspired by your poetry. Great write. :))

I get sad when this happens to me, and it DOES. I just hope it doesn't last long ...... for any writer :) Well put WW, even with an 'absent' muse :)

Smiling prodigiously. The experience of being abandoned by the muse is so irking especially when you have everything prepared and are in the mood. That is when she drops you off the cliff. I have fallen in love with the last stanza, so whisful. I know this experience well. Thank you for putting into words. My explanation is a little raunchy and not for delicate eyes,
