My Aunt, My Friend
The foundation that keeps us strong,
Friends support us with encouragement.
They overlook our faults and concentrate on the positive.
Without true friends, our lives would be lonely,
As their communications add much joy.
We can never have too many friends;
Each is a blessing and a treasure to nourish.
They are like the life-blood that courses through us,
Making us know we are never alone.
My aunt is a writer who posts here,
So my entry cannot win a prize.
I just want her to know how I love her,
Far more than she could ever realize.
