My Annual Christmas Goal

I’m Christmas Cat, I have a tradition; I climb Christmas trees, it is my ambition. Thirty-three I climbed last year, twenty before; several dozen times, I’ve been thrown out of doors. Celebrating wholeheartedly is my Christmas goal; though all it gets me, is big lumps of coal. I must break my record, each Christmas that comes; despite of the sometimes, negative outcomes. Somewhere deep inside me, I have this fear; if I don’t climb the trees, Christmas won’t be here. So I struggle and strive, to keep Christmas alive; even though sometimes, I must take a quick dive!

Adventurous cat my friend but i Enjoyed the poem thoroughly, it made me laugh. Suppose for cats it's just a tree, and they are all made for climbing, as long as she didn't get to the top and topple it over! Well penned, great write, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Mine always enjoy knocking off the ornaments too; I think it's a challenge as to whom can knock off the most. Thanks again.

This one's a bit delusional though. I think I remember reading "Christmas Cat-astrophe". Thanks.
