MUSTANGS
In the wide open spaces of Wyoming
Where sheep and horses graze
I took a notion to do some roamin'
And spend at least a few days
The days turned into weeks
The weeks turned into months
I had to go back to take a peek
'Cause I had been there once
In a gorgeous meadow surrounded by hills
Where the deer and the antelope play
Stood a quaint log cabin with all the frills
Was where I was allowed to stay
But the most breathtaking sight of all
Were the mustangs running free
Not penned up in a closed in stall
But in the open for all to see
I marveled at how they seemed to say
Wouldn't you like to join us here
To run and romp, jump and play
With nothing to bring us fear
Yes, the wildlife in Wyoming
Is a marvelous sight to see
And wild mustangs still roaming
Hold a great attraction for me
