Must we learn this way?

The joy of the Junco hopping on top of the snow, is probably something I would always want to know How to feel it with the shift of the wind when I choose How to turn off the thoughts in my mind from bad news There is snow melting, it is dripping like a clock, making me think of time never stopped with a lock Must we be covered in winter with the purity of white, to learn how dark we make things, with actions not right? Gosh, this is a deeply introspective and heartfelt write, dear Heidi..
