Musings On God and All That Is

Musings about God and All that Is! ? What if? All that IS (God) wanting to explore itself decided to create Earth and all that lives on her? Wouldn't that be easy for a force to do? What if he/she made humans in her/his/their image, with all that encompasses! What if that God had "free will"? What if, that meant that each person was special and important. What if, God made all of the races and faces of the Earth and each of us were spread to all of the races on earth and what we did and how we treated each other was how we treated ourselves? An incredible offshoot of us, so God could explore God in multitudes of forms! A joyous creation of creature-hood, humanity. What if there were a connection of all of these selves, having all of these lives? What if we were still for a moment and felt what each part of ourselves were feeling? What if we were all made of starlight and energy, clothed in skin! If we were able to "feel" each others, pain, joy, laughter, pride, misery and triumphs, wouldn't we treat each other better? What IF we cooperated, what could we accomplish, what could we conceive and imagine? What if we took the best in us and the other "parts" of ourselves and mixed it all up, would we be any different, would we frown or smile? Would we lend a loving hand, would we save each other and save Mother Earth? Would we cry with Joy? Would we, with our Free Will, still have multitudes of ways to live and love and explore? Would Anger go another way? Would Greed be useless against our own selves? Could we find fulfillment without Fighting among ourselves? I think God and his/her offshoots wonders about that and would love to try that creation! Would you, if you could finally Rest and not worry about the state of our world, find wonder and joy to be alive and free to imagine why anyone would not want it so? Whatever each part of us calls God, if we knew that we were all made of God-thought, couldn't we love ourselves? What if we were as many selves as leaves on a giant tree or as many as atoms there are in a mountain, then could we open our arms and hearts to Ourselves, to God, to All that IS, to the many names that the Creator goes by? What if we were "God Like"? What if we used that infinite intelligence that came with us when we were created? Think about that! What if each of us sent out a bit of us to become a flower a leaf a waterfall an insect an animal, all atoms that spun out to the world? Would we be gentler with our home, Mother Earth and each other? Let's!
