Music In Heaven - Tribute

They are playing their music in heaven
Loud music drifts from their guitars
How we wish you were here so we could hear you play
Tragically MDMA stole your lives away

The Jactor Project keeps your memories alive
Jactoributes hidden in over 60 countries across the world

A year has passed since you both fell asleep
You cannot see the silent tears we weep

Jacques and Torin you are always in our thoughts.
We all miss you so much Jan ***

RIP Jacques and Torin Lakeman who passed away aged 19 and 20 on 1st December 2014

1st December 2015

CayCay Godwin December 4, 2015 at 4:19 PM I have no words, but a deep silence as I think of them and their parents. Jan, my melancholy is growing for now I am thinking of the loved people who are not here for Christmas this year and will be poignantly missed ... I hope their parents saw your poem ... CayCay Jan Allison December 4, 2015 at 4:21 PM I had permission from Sarah to post it CayCay - tragically one of the friends died about 10 days ago - it would appear to be drugs related - more heartbreaking news:-( hugs jan xx

Maurice Yvonne December 3, 2015 at 10:41 AM Tragic! You did them proud. I hope they were needed for a different purpose and are safe cradled in the arms of the universe. Jan Allison December 3, 2015 at 11:07 AM I hope they are now looking after their friend Rob who tragically passed away last week - I wish he had learned from what happened to them ... simply heartbreaking another young life lost:-(:-(:-( stay strong my friend:-) love and hugs Jan xx

Constance La France December 2, 2015 at 4:43 PM Jan, oh such a sad thing to happen to two young people, your tribute captured the sorrow so well Constance La France December 2, 2015 at 9:20 PM It truly is a sad memory to hold within, try to use the emotion in your writing, it is a way to release it ~ Jan Allison December 2, 2015 at 4:44 PM I can't believe it is a year since we lost the lads - seeing their pictures has made me very sad these past few days:-( hugs jan xx

Matthew Anish December 2, 2015 at 12:50 PM Music awakens the hear and a loss of two with musical talent is grievous as you show in this work. My late father was a composer and set my poems to music. Two of my nephews play in rock bands - Sirs and Madams and The Mad Doctors - both of whom can be heard on the "net". Peace & Love Matthew Anish Jan Allison December 2, 2015 at 1:21 PM Their are videos of the lads on youtube I was watching them at the weekend when I wrote my poem - their memories and music will live on:-) hugs Jan xx

Eric Boddie December 2, 2015 at 11:02 AM so sad but so often true....devilish reactions undermining God affect both me and you....maybe not as users but as witnesses to the pain....to any family, d.r.u.g. leaves an awful stain....and they are in every family even if unseen....and there is no way to prosper in the Life of any fiend....just Beautifully sad jan....your work is amazing....;) Eric Boddie December 2, 2015 at 12:39 PM people do see and understand the ills jan....but there is just too much money being made....but each person has to choose NOT to do drugs for self....if that's what floats THEIR boat then who am I to tell them what they can or can not do with their Lives....after all it's their consequence to come.... Jan Allison December 2, 2015 at 12:07 PM I just wish people could see the devastation caused by drugs Eric - the more we can talk about what happened to these lads - make others aware of the dangers - people have no idea what they are buying, the strength, even what these drugs contain - oh it is heartbreaking to know others are still dying :-( hugs jan xx

Keith Bickerstaffe December 2, 2015 at 10:43 AM Terribly sad... what a loss you have experienced with the passing of two fine musicians. My sympathies. Andrea Dietrich December 1, 2015 at 3:29 PM I can't think what MDMA stands for!! I know you told me about these two cute boys. It seems unreal that this all happened a year before today!! this is a lovely poem, Jan. Jan Allison December 1, 2015 at 3:36 PM MDMA is a form of 'ecstasy' - what an ironic name when it is responsible for so many deaths:-( Breaks my heart to see their photos but we must keep their memories alive and the jactor project is a tribute to them and is spreading across the world:-) hugs Jan xx
