Muse

My Masterpiece -
is still out there somewhere
many light years away
It is immortal
It has always been there
in God's eternal satellite
traveling the universe
circling the galaxies
constantly sending signals
signals meant only for me

My Masterpiece -
is very patient; it will never stop
(After all, it's got plenty of time)
It will never stop searching
searching and sending until I learn
how to extend my antennae...

Thanks for the smack on the back of my head. I am sorry. You're right, I've been selfish. I don't ask forgiveness... I'm only here to say thank you and I will try to be better. I'm like a smoker with writing, its true... I want to keep lighting another, but don't stop and read what good folk are sharing. Now, I really liked the searching and sending here... I get that. Hope you have a good weekend. Cyndi

I keep thinking that too - my masterpiece must be out there somewhere! I think this is a really good entry for amy's contest - I wanted to enter my poem 'her muse says' but there are more than 18 lines and I don't want to cut them...anyway, good luck...(how's your blood pressure?!) :)
