Mrytle the Turtle

Mrytle the turtle bought a new girdle when her zipper wouldn't budge. She sucked in her gut and stuck out her butt and went off to buy more fudge.

thanks Ms. Heidi. I used to call my turtle puppet Myrtle when I did childrens puppetry. I wrote it after seeing the movie The Red Turtle this am. I just discovered after having written this that there are a lot of Myrtle the turtle poems out there. Oh well. I guess she gets around..Have a blessed day, Nancy
