Dear Billie, I adore the portrait your lovely limerick has painted of Mr. Pretty the Cat. Love his name too! The gentle humor in your poem makes me smile, especially the last line. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Billie, would you be open to having Mr. Pretty be my nation's leader for a while until he puts things in some sort of order, since his mind is sharp and slick. You see, the chap (chump) there now is making a mess of everything. I promise to take excellent care of Mr. Pretty. He's a lucky cat to have you and Sara. '-)

Haha, love the offer—but Mr. Pretty sadly can’t run for president… he's a British Shorthair, born and bred in England! Total foreign paws. However, his wife Nova is American (Sara’s OG kitty), so together they might form a purr-fect ruling duo. Think royal sass meets Yankee charm. Appreciate your care offer though—he is quite the lucky gent.

Aww thank you so much, sis. Mr. Pretty will be so flattered (he already thinks he runs the place!). I’m really glad the poem made you smile—your light and love always lift me up too. Sending it right back, times ten
