Mr Frogator

Mr. Frogator

It was dark and deep among the cypress trees,
Lily pads covered the water.
One frog had ambitions to rule the lake,
His name was Mr. Frogator.

Yes, he insisted on being called "Mister,"
As he inhabited the largest pad,
He led the chorus of nighttime frogs,
But alas, their croaking was bad!

It was out of tune, and canoes riding through
Would cover up their ears in dismay,
For Mr. Frogator ramped up the volume,
When one of them rowed in the way.

That was the way he got rid of the riff raff,
And impressed all the frogs in the lake,
If you sit on the bank you can hear their notes,
But you can't take it long, goodness sakes!

I'm sure I've got a Mr Frogator in my backyard Sunlite, he's sooo loud. I really enjoyed this fun poem of yours.

This was cute my friend. I have a few of these guys hanging around making noise when it gets dark. I just wonder if one of them might be...well, maybe. :) Really nice Sunlite.
