Moving On

Meeting the Lord midst frustrations’ anguish I’m calmed down, my fears He does extinguish He secures my heart from vexing distress Thus, in despair I will never languish. Moving upward though sorely afflicted I’m so refreshed, spiritually-scented Replenished and sustained to persevere Pleasing the Lord Who keeps me protected. Marching on, walking by faith*, not by sight Doing what’s right is still the best delight Since the Almighty’s wisdom grips my mind Leading my way to His light day and night.
*2Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. April 6, 2019 Edited on June 8, 2020 1st place, "BRIAN'S SELECT 9,any form, any theme" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Brian Strand; judged on 6/9/2020.
