Mountain Peak
The mountain peak poked through the trees
Everything was quiet, without a breeze
I walked with many questions in mind,
Hoping for the answers that I may find
I looked up high, at the snow capped view
Seeking respect for strength within me and you
With faith in whatever wisdom I may gain
In times of division, that bring my heart pain
Hoping to see more gentle gestures of love
To reach us all here, like the mountain above
