Mother's Day Poem- Carolyns Sonnet

Beauteous mother earth You have followed the tradition Mother that hath given birth Raising us well was your ambition Holding my hand through the hardest of transitions Loving lady Sleepless nights we made unnerving some of our escapades taht seem shady For all the love and care, we are undesrving Compassion As a suit of armour it is your fashion In wild unknown country, y ouve reaped and sown Working to the bone A farmer Nurturing this disastrous weed into a flower Memories of the past Cut knees, celiac disease, screaming please Although I do grow fast No matter my age In my continuous book of my life Words of wisdom you shared are imprinted on the pages How to be strong in a world full of strife
